Go back in time to the old west cattle round-up where gathering our herd of 60-80 head of Longhorn cattle and driving them back to the ranch is an adventure. It first starts out at the ranch Nelson Cabin where you will be given a porch talk on how the cattle round-up works, then climb on your horses and head to the arena. Here you will get to know your horse by walking, trotting and some loping then off to find the cattle. Once the cattle are found and gathered the drive begins! You will take them across meadows, up a hillside and across a mountain bench to a watering hole where the cattle can drink and you can rest your horses. After the cattle and horses have rested it is time to head them home to the ranch. Back at the ranch you will have lunch and talk over your adventure of the day. Memories to last a lifetime. Children must be at least 12 years old and experience is preferred. The cattle round-up is offered daily beginning at 10:00 AM and your lunch is included. Reservations are required as spaces are limited. We suggest you arrive 30 minutes prior to the ride times. Weight limit of 240 pounds We are located at 4 Eagle Ranch - Click here for directions.
